The Finnish Ringing Centre

The Ringing Centre works within the Finnish Museum of Natural History. It is responsible for the supervising of bird ringing in Finland, and for the collecting of ring recoveries. The centre hands out the ringing permits, and collects data on bird migration and other aspects of avian ecology with the help of ringing.
