Vertebrates Division

The staff of the Vertebrates Division takes care of the vertebrate collections, from fishes to mammals, does research, and gives information. You can call the staff if you have questions regarding nature, you can send or bring in finds you want to get identified.

The research done also concerns vertebrates, both recent and fossil species. Part of the research is long-time monitoring, which gives information on changes in Finland's nature, for instance changes in the bird population.
