In the deviating plant, the
(female) spike glumes are paler brown, the perigynia broader, and the perigynium
neck a
bit shorter.
The habitat is a rich fen with Carex flava, Eriophorum
latifolium, Huperzia appressa, Trichophorum alpinum, T. cespitosum, etc.
