Quercus robur L. (Fagaceae), forma (Finland, Lohja, Jalassaari, 2003). – Image: Harri Harmaja (scanned from dried specimen). – A small tree, a few years old, with this kind of aberrant leaf lobation was found in rich woods. The lobes are subacute and, moreover, there is tendency towards the formation of secondary lobes. I have not found a name for this form in the literature. However, it is not impossible that an escape of the poorly known cultivar Quercus robur 'Oxyacantha' is concerned.
