Rubus idaeus L. var. anomalus Arrh. (R. obtusifolius Willd.) (Finland, Lammi, Biological station, 1979). – Image: Harri Harmaja (scanned from dried specimen). – This infrequent morph of R. idaeus (Rosaceae) has no spines in the 2nd year's stem, the leaflets are not acute, and the uppermost leaves are not compound but only lobed. The fertility of this taxon is more or less reduced. The plant of the image possessed stamens and seemingly good pollen. The carpels were apparently lacking (in which case the plant would be unable to produce berries).
